Wingman issues the agreement and invoice. The date is confirmed after the booking payment clears.

The practical details

Everything you need to plan the day.

  1. Join the squadron

    Coffee, callsigns and the opening orientation in the private squadron room.

  2. Qualify to fly

    Hands-on training in the full-motion F/A-18 simulators. Everyone trains.

  3. Receive the mission

    Role allocation, crew pairings and a live mission brief.

  4. Fly the missions and run the squadron

    Crews launch in succession while the remaining team manages the squadron task and handovers.

  5. Debrief, learn and apply

    The team reconstructs the missions and closes with a practical discussion about judgement under uncertainty.

Arrival

Meet in the Building 1 lobby.

Free basement parking is available. The squadron room and simulators are in the same building.

What to wear

Comfortable clothes. Flight suits supplied.

A T-shirt, trainers and comfortable joggers or trousers are recommended. No ID is required.

Food

A working lunch and refreshments.

Lunch, tea, coffee and water are included. The menu and dietary needs are agreed after booking.

Suitability

No previous flying experience needed.

Raise any motion-sensitivity, accessibility or health concerns before booking so the available options can be confirmed.

Not included

Travel, accommodation and professional media.

Professional photography or video and anything outside the confirmed schedule are not included unless separately agreed.

Booking and cancellation summary

  • A 50% booking payment confirms the booking; the balance is due 14 days before the event.
  • More than 21 days before: the booking payment is retained or may be transferred once to another available weekday within 90 days.
  • Eight to 21 days before: 50% of the full fee is payable. Seven days or fewer: the full fee is payable.
  • If a technical, software or safety issue prevents the core flying experience, the booking moves to another available weekday at no additional charge. If no date is agreed within 90 days, fees paid are refunded.
